We have included the Verzasca dam in our programme because sustainable energy and electric mobility simply belong together.
A highlight is the tour of the underground power plant of the Diga Verzasca, where we learn how the plant is operated and how it was built.

Tremola ride.
We will ride the historic Tremola cobblestone road with its 24 hairpin bends. This is the old, breathtaking route to the St. Gotthard Pass, it is considered the longest architectural monument in Switzerland. With our IDs, we «experience» the historic road with its sweeping serpentines and tight bends. Once at the top of the pass, we reward ourselves with an aperitif.

The apprentices of Volkswagen Saxony have built a sustainable show car again this year. The ID.5 XCITE is the Locarno Car and celebrates its world premiere at the ID. TREFFEN world premiere.
Two unique ID. Buzz sind Teil des diesjährigen „ID. TREFFEN» in Ascona/Locarno. Designers from Volkswagen and Lucasfilm created the unique showcars together. ID. Buzz «Light Side Edition» and «Dark Side Edition».
The ID.4 GTX off-road proves that the ID.4 GTX is not just a well-behaved on-roader. With its chassis, tyres and attachments optimised for off-road use, it clearly distinguishes itself from the road version.
The ID.3 X also gets a performance boost, in the form of the ID.3 X Performance Upgrade.
A new Guinness altitude world record has been set. Rainer Zietlow has raised the record for purely electric production cars to 5,816 m above sea level in the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX. Rainer is on site with his record-breaking ID.4 GTX and reports on his record-breaking adventure. More…
Not everyone has had the opportunity to test drive the ID.5 GTX yet. We offer you this opportunity, including competent contact persons and in a great environment. Take your time to thoroughly examine the ID.5 GTX and «experience» the ID.5 GTX for yourself.
We also want to show you private tuning at our event. Also fordern wir euch auf: Show us your modifications on your car. Innovative tuning will be supported by us and will be judged during the event. The winner will receive the ID. TREFFEN Tuning Award challenge cup and a smaller trophy to take home.
The new models of the ID family will be shown in camouflage before their premiere. The camouflage pre-production vehicles therefore enjoy a special cult status in the ID. Community. We are pleased to present the ID. BUZZ Camouflage at the LaRotonda.
How do you foil an ID. or how do you apply a large adhesive to a vehicle? Celine Oehy, who has already foiled and embellished the ID.3 ELECTRA, will show you on site how to do it, what you have to pay attention to and what tools you need.
Once again this year there will be a challenge drive with a great grand prize. «Who consumes less?» is the motto this time too. Of course, there is always a portion of luck involved in such a drive.

Like last year, the expert lectures are a central focal point of our event. There is a lot of new information and questions can be asked of the experts. First-hand information. We are proud of this direct contact with Volkswagen’s development engineers.
